Chloe's first day of Ice Skating

Chloe started her first day of Ice Skating lesson's with her cousin Ireland. She was such a sport, and did such a good job for her first time. I was really impressed that she would fall and get right back up. This is all she talks about now, and she counts down the days till she gets to go back.

Maybe I will have an Olympic Gold Medalist on my hands??

Hayden making mischeif again!!

My handsome little monster, he is into everything.. His new thing is getting himself up on the table, throwing those balls off the table, and of course making mischeif with other things. In this particular picture, Hayden is helping make Chloe's homework really pretty. I can't turn my back for a minute, without wondering what he is up to now.. After all that being said, I am thankful for such a happy little guy, who has a wonderful, fun loving spirit. He makes our family laugh!!

Here are some pictures of Cancun, Mexico. Andy & I were able to spend 5 days there the first part of January. It was so nice to get away, just the two of us. We really just relaxed the whole time. I look at these pictures and see how warm it looks, and how beautiful. I can't wait to go back.

I am a Slacker!!

So I figured, I better type up something so all my friends don't think I am a blogger drop out!! Gosh, life has been crazy, where do I start. Thanksgiving was fabulous of course, Kathe always makes such a good meal, but the weekend kind of through a wrench in the fun. I ended up having to get my appendix taken out that weekend!! Not so fun. So of course trying to recover from that, I was totally over whelmed to think I had no done any Christmas shopping.. I think I purchased my last gift at 4pm Christmas Eve, and whosever I didn't have, so sorry!! Christmas morning was alot of fun with the kids. Chloe gets more excited every year, and little man enjoyed it also. That day was pretty relaxing which isn't normal. But don't you worry, the next day it was back to work for me!! That's right, we were so busy at work, Everybody was there working.. So New Years, came & went, I enjoyed it in bed asleep. Then, Jan 7, 2009, My cute husband had his 30th birthday. Of course, we had to have a birthday party!! Then, two days later, Andy & I were off to Cancun, Mexico to enjoy each other & get a little R&R. And that is exactly what we got. We had so much fun doing nothing, but laying by the pool, getting massages & ordering room service!! The best, was going out to the beach at night and watching the waves roll in. Now, I know that may sound boring to some people, so for all you adventours people out there, I want you to know, that Andy did talk me into Snorkeling in Cozumel.. I have to be honest, It was an act of congress getting me out into the middle of the Ocean, and jumping off that boat, but I did it, and it was FUN!! I am so glad Andy makes me go out of my comfort zone and makes me conqur my fears.. So we are home now, and we were so excited to see our kids. We missed them so much. Now, it is back to everyday busy lives of the Torgerson's. It seems like Andy & I cross paths all week, but one thing, we are very thankful for each others hard work & dedication to our family!!

Mommy's Little Helper

So I am sitting at the computer updating my facebook and I look over, and Hayden has some how come out of the laundry room walking on his knees, holding the dust pan and broom. The funniest thing is he somehow managed to get all the way through the kitchen and down the hall with both items in hands, walking on his knees!! When will he ever walk?

Teach Them Young!!

So this morning while I was getting ready for work, little man wanted to sit up on the counter with me. Before I knew it, he was sitting in the sink brushing his teeth. He thought he was sooooo big. Something you can't see from these pictures is, he turned on the water, and was soaking yet. We just sat and laughed at him, and of course let him have his fun, until it was time to get out of the sink so Chloe could brush her teeth. He was ticked off. I have a feeling this will be an every morning tradition, because this kid does not forget what is fun!!

Chloe loves when Andy comes home with his police car's. She always has to run out no matter what time of night it is to play in the car. And of course the discussions start:

"Daddy, did you have to take bad people to jail today?"

Daddy:Yes

"Well what did they do wrong?"

She is so inquizative about his night. How would it be to be idolized?

Two Little Monkey's

These two, what can I say. The other morning I was getting ready for work. I knew Chloe had went in to see Hayden, but I had no idea she had gotten in his crib with him. They were laughing so hard I had to go see what they were up to. Chloe is the best sister to Hayden. Her favorite thing in the morning is to wake him up! He is always so excited to see her.

It was such a beautiful night!! Sage, Katie, Chloe & Canyon had lots of fun playing in the leaves before trick or treating.

Hayden was not happy to be in his costume. He through the biggest fit ever. What an inconveiance for a baby. He did look as cute as a bug.

My smart little man

The other night we had to go to the hospital to see Andy's grandpa. We had to keep the kids out in the waiting room, so we were trying to keep them busy. Hayden went over to the table and started drawing on this paper, but how interesting it was that he was totally holding his pen the correct way!! We just sat & watched him, and he never changed the way of the pen. I must say, I am a very proud mama that my little man is so smart.

Fun day at the Zoo

Grandma Kathe took the kids to the zoo over fall break. Hayden obviously did not like the train, but grandma still managed to get a picture.

This kid loves to eat and pose for pictures like his sister.. He will eat anything and everything, and he thinks he is so big that he can stand in the high chair. We love to sit and watch him, he brings so many laughs to the table.

Chloe being her silly self

This girl has got the funniest personality. She is always so funny, and always posing for the camera.

She is in Kindergarten this year, and her teacher says she is an excellent student and artist- I think her best quality is she is everybody's friend. She has many friends and usually somehow fits them all in her day. She always has to be doing something, or I hear her saying "I am board", Ughhh.

I am so lucky to have such a sweet, beautiful daughter. Our home would not be the same without her.

Happy Birthday Hayden- July 3, 2008

Hayden's 1st birthday. Wow I cannot beleive he is already 1. How time flies. I took the day off work and we went to the zoo. I remeber thinking that day how blessed I was to have such a handsome little guy in my life, and how he is such a fighter. A year ago that day I remember so well, and will probably never forget. He decided he needed to come early and only weighed 3lbs. He was so little & frail, and I was so afraid to touch him or hold him. I am so blessed that he is so healthy and so big..
